Overall, I believe that I put a lot of effort into all of my work this term. As well as working efficiently in class, I also got a considerable amount of work completed in my own time (after school, weekend, lunch & interval) to reach my goals. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the work this term, but especially the Poetry section, because I enjoyed the creativity, freedom and personalisation involved. Playing basketball for a few days each week over a period of 3 weeks let my school work get slightly behind and I had to spend a lot of time catching up, and given the amount of time I had, I made it my number one priority to get back up to standard. I have been taking a lot more pride in my school work over this year and I love learning new things, and this has kept me determined to perform at the absolute best of my ability. Receiving your feedback (Mrs Taylor) has really helped me improve my work and learn from my mistakes. Something I could improve on with future English essays would be relating/linking the end of my paragraphs back to the main topic, and concerning film techniques in particular, I would like to improve on describing the shots/techniques.
