Self reflection.

Think about the characteristics of an entrepreneur. Which characteristics do you think you possess. Provide examples of how you show these characteristics; (think about what you enjoy doing and what you are good at doing!)

Persistant/determined: I believe that I am relatively persistent/determined. These quailties show primarily through my sport, health and fitness as I am always giving my best effort and trying things again and again until I succeed.

Independence: I am very independent. Although I do like working with people, I love working by myself where I can express all of my ideas and opinions and present them however I like. I enjoy learning things online and in books in my spare time, to better myself.

Drive/self motivation: I believe that I am very driven and self motivated, because if I want to do something, I will plan a way and take the required steps to achieve it. No excuses 😛

What does “Number 8 wire mentality” mean? Why do some people say that New Zealanders possess this quality?

Number 8 wire mentality means that New Zealanders, particularly the men, are practical, lateral-thinking, problem-solving types, capable of inventing, or fixing, anything with readily available rescources ie whatever junk they have lying around in the garden shed. People say that NZ’s possess thjs quality becaise is reflects the ‘Kiwi ingenuity’ ‘DIY’ that NZ is known for.
